When logging in for the first time, entering a password creates an Administrator user role. Share this password with other users requiring access to every feature in SQL Monitor, and use the Configuration > Manage user roles page to create Standard and Read-only passwords.
If an Administrator has given you the Standard user password, you can log in and manage alerts and configure alert settings, but cannot configure custom metrics, custom alerts or alert email settings.
If an Administrator has given you the Read-only user password, you can log in and view most pages, but cannot configure settings in SQL Monitor.
